You might want to call Riyadh office or check the average processing time on the CIC website.

Hi Rudaina73,
If you are asking about the immigration visa, then Riyadh office doesn't process immigration visas, all immigration visas for Saudi Arabia applicants are processed in London CIC office.
I sent my immigration application in March 2004 and received my visa stamped on my passport on April 2006 (25 months)
I hope this answers your question.

| Rudaina, The visa office in Riyadh does not process the application. All those applicants filing their application from the middle east have to file their application at CIC Office IN London.. Riyadh office does not have any permission for the processing of application. They are only visa consulate offcies and do not process immigration application.. This is for your information please. |

Hi rudaina73, Personally, I didn't use any immigration lawyer or consultant for filing my case, all you need to know to file a correct and complete immigration case is already posted on the CIC web site (www.cic.gc.ca). If you want my brotherly advice to you, don't use any lawyer, instead save your money for better use.
Make sure you go through the self assessment (available on the CIC web site) and make sure you honestly answer all questions and see how many points you come up with. Don’t cheat or guess, if you are not sure of something, post it here and all the good people in this forum will be happy to help you.
In case you get the required points, your case most probably will be successful. If your points come short, make sure you work on improving your weak areas, like language skill, education, and work experience and then apply when you are confident you got enough points to succeed.
Hope things will go well with you.

Rudaina73 and Love Canada You can join us the following link and get the info on processing times and processes. http://www.immigration.ca/discussion/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13921&whichpage=1
As rightly pointed by Tom john and khamis jalal you have to file with CHC London if you are on a Valid IQAMA ( PR of Saudia ). Wait time these days is almost 45 months which usually means that you will be landing in 55-60 Months if all goes smooth.
Pass marks are 67 these days, yet you Rudaina73 calculated your marks as 72, I wonder how you calculated them without taking IELTS exams for Language. For Language you can't take 16 untill you have the IELTS merit indicating that you scored 16.
The process has now been simplified and its better to visit WWW.CIC.GC.CA for guides to immigrate, forms and other information
Wish you Luck.
Best of Luck. |

Love canada , yess you are right that its 45 months for assessment as i also mentioned in the above Comment. Just to know the outcome you have to wait this long.I cant say that this period is worht it or not, yet,Probably you will get it if you dont have any forged Documents and if your qualifying marks are as per the requirement and thats for sure.
Good Luck.

There seems to be some confusion about some very basic facts:
1- Your case is not fast-forwarded because of your occupation 2- TOFEL is not accepted as proof of English language. CIC office only recognizes IELTS 3- You must score 7 or above on all 4 bands to get the maximum mark for language skills 4- Waiting time is expected to increase by time because of the volume of applications. So when I applied on 2004, the official waiting time was 18 months but I got the visa in 25 months.
some cases get rejected simply because the applicants mis-calculated their points.
Thanks
Khamis Jalal
