Hey guys, if everyone knows please help.
I applied under the simplified process. How do they count points for the work experience? If they take by the date of application - then I am in trouble. But maybe they will count the points by the date they'll call me for the interview and before that I will get some more experience? |

Hi marius_p when you apply for under SIAP you need to have atleast 67 or more points including your education, work exp,english/french requirements, etc. However if you dont meet this basic requirement your application of being rejected is very likely as when your file is under final consideration CIC will give you 120 days notice to submit your documents which should be according to details you had filled in the form when applied long time back.Once again go thru CIC's website to clarify any doubts as you might be in deep trouble later.Ofcourse now if you have atleast 67 points then later whatever work exp you have gained until your file is active will give you additional points.

| Hi fair SIAP stands for SIMPLIFIED IMMIGRATION APPLICATION PROCESS where you only submit the properly filled application form and the required fees to CIC.When your file is finally active which depends thru which visa post you have applied CIC will give you 120 days notice to submit all documents for what you have claimed points for. |

I want to know that if i will give IELTS now (it expires after two years)but as i submitted my application now so if i will give the IELTS exam now will they accept my result at the time of interview even if the interview call will come after two years or they will not accept my IELTS exam? Third and last question i want to know that how much points a person will gain if he/she gets a diploma of one year or three or four 6 months certificates of different programmes .I hope i will get the answer very shortly. I will be thankful to that person if he/she will provide me the links which cleraly define all the questions which i asked above

Under SAIP you do not have to undergo with the IELTS now. CHC will let you know when they need it and then you will take the test. Now I think you ahve to undergo with the test again when CHC will ask you may be after 4 to 5 years from application. No recognizable gain for the diploma of 6 months.

Hey guys,
I'm a bit confused on where to send the CAIPS request form to. The beginning of CAIPS post says to mail it to:
Citizenship and Immigration Canada Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator Narono Building 360 Laurier Avenue West, 10th Floor Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1 Tel.: (613) 957-6512 Fax: (613) 957-6517
I was also looking at information on the CIC website and they have different addresses to post it to: http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLIsh/department/atip/requests-address.asp
Since I live in Toronto, does it mean I have to post my CAIPS request to the:
Ontario Region Regional Privacy Coordinator Ontario Regional Office 25 St. Clair Avenue East, Suite 200 Toronto, Ontario M4T 1M2
Please do let me know as I wish to do this as soon as possible.

Hi all,
I am starting this new post in the favor of all those who are willing to immigrate to Canada.
Please read carefully.
First of all, just to get a flavor, visit:
***** (must visit, don't be ignorant)
Secondly, I am not discouraging any one of you to apply or be a canadian immigrant. Its your life and its totally your choice...but... thing 100 times because life is a precious gift you get only once.
Thirdly, if you are a young guy/girl (unmarried) between age of 18 to 32 years ... Canada is definitely for you... but... if you are a well settled married man/woman with family (children), just try to get a proper job first before landing over there.
Finally, take a look at this video on youtube.com
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhobvsUuogI
Good luck to all of you.
P.S: I know moderators of this board will remove my post as soon as they read it, but please send it to as many people as you can... just save your and their future from destruction.
