Hi All,

For the last 2 weeks I was seeing two "In process" lines as my online status. Today, the status got changed to "Application received".

Anyone faced similar scenario? Any ideas?

refers to the arrival of new individuals into a habitat or population. It is a biological concept and is important in population ecology, differentiated from emigration and migration.

Hi all,
i applied as skilled applicant on July 2008 where my applied my NOC wasn't in the newly published 38 NOC list.
I got the acknowledgment from them and it provided my Immigration file number and i could see my status online mentioned initially "ON PROCESS" but tonight i found the status "APPLICATION RECEIVED" which they meant "Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application. After checking for completeness, a file has been created and the information from the application form was entered."

Does any of you have this kind of experience?
if yes then what happened next\?

Tnx
Omer

Hi Folutayo, although I am not sure how things work in Immigration centers outside Canada, I wuld tell you that the waiting time is pretty long. If you check on the immigration website www.cic.gc.ca, you will find out how long it takes. I wouldn't advise to get a representative, because the system is pretty smooth once you carefully read all the material. You don't need to pay someone to do that, trust me. Good luck

Why do people keep feeding the white kanadian apartheid immigration scam? Like, you think you will be better off here????

You are going to be a brown/black slave. The kanadians are white limey slavemasters. They just call it multiculturalism.

Why come here and be used and abused?

You will have no problem getting the points. What they want is the money. You have $C18,000 plus landing fees, immigrations fees etc?

Sure you can be here easily. Then what?

Your experience is useless here. Your qualifications will be treated like they were bought from a diploma mill. The canadians sift through the resumes/cv's with software that filters out non-white names.

They will tell you get a "canadian" education. That too will be useless. You will be a cab driver/security guard/janitor for the rest of your life. Life sentence. Think about it.

will they consider my banking experience and award me 21 points? or only consider first experience and award only 15?

If your application is in NS then this means that your application will be reviewed in next step. you will get positive or negative answer depending upon that ur occupation is in 38 or not. u can check ur status yourself by clicking on the links which are below the status "We received your application.........."

you are talking about two different criteria. you will get points of ur work experience in any occupation.

However to be eligible for immigration any one of the occupation in last 10 years should be in list of 38. also that occupation must be for atleast 1 year.
