You will have to go through all your training again and again. Foreign qualifications including Registered Nurse or RN is not recognized here.

That means you will have to pay full tuition and more to go to a canadian college. And right now the economic downturn means they are not hiring nurses anymore.

Good luck.

its all baseless and misunderstanding if there are conditions like this as quoted by u they will delete this profession from 38 NOC list. Hina i suggest u to check above links and calculate ur points.
after this if u think u are qualifying then just apply
wish u best of luck

I think if I have to go through all the procedure of training again then Canada Would not mention Registered Nurse in Required list of Profession.

Also I am covering 100% experience in my current job that is required to show in Canada Immigration Process.

Since I have did my BSCN from a reputed University of Pakistan (An international standard) called Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi and Working in this same hospital since more then 3 and half year. Also i have did my online Critical Care Nurse Certification from George Brown College Toronto Canada.

My Collegue have suggested me to just apply for immigration since my profession is in the list and canadian government have not mention that i will have to study again in bachelor programe. They have just mention that i would required RN License to get job in Canada that is territory base. So, in simple the process what i Think should be

Apply for Immigration in Pakistan
Prepare for RN exam taking required books.
Immigration Process Complete in Pakistan.
Go to Canada as Immigrant.
Take the RN Exam
Then apply for job over there.

yes, you may be required to do some upgrdaing course to make yourself on par with canadain qualifications. Be happy and apply if yours is the desire to immigrate. You can take a job after being acquainted with the healthcare system there. have a good time!
