navz143 can u give any reference about this information that they will return the same DD from where u come to know? do u know any person whos application refused at this stage and they returned his/her DD ?

Hello All
I Fed-Exed my application to Sydney June 17th and i am yet to hear from Sydeny. I checked today and my cheque has still not been encashed and no mail. I am worried they have turned down my application but i have not received any mail. As anyone had this experience? Its been 38 days now

Dear All,
I am preparing my application under 0213. Kindly guide myself that I had IELTS score which just expired a month ago (IELTS has 2 years of expiry as I know). I had 7.5 Band, Question is; can I qoute same score in application form or do I have to attempt IELTS again before sending application forms in FIRST step.

Hello All,
I got on the new Process for Skilled Worker and I got my medicals forms and request to pay landing fees in 7 months. I just want to check is this a good thing? If the medicals are good, which they are, does this mean that I got accepted for PR?
Please advise...

Dear all,
This is my first post; I realized that for the first time I am in need of expert opinion from all well aware participants. I came to Canada as International Student in Aug 2006 to do my MBA; at present I am under post graduation work permit and working for Bell call center. I applied for immigration under federal skill class and my file was transferred to Seattle. In very less time, I received a letter from Seattle- the purpose of the letter was to provide evidence of my previous work experience, MBA transcripts, and funds proof. I was successfully able to acquire and submit 2 letter of reference from my previous employers in India and also from my current employer “bell”. But the plight is I was not able to acquire the letter of reference from one out of three previous employer.. What I need to know is; will that affect or delay my case..However, I have submitted the explanation for not able to provide one letter of reference..
Please guide me through if there is anything else I need to do..and How long can it take.

dear all
my mother got visa in year 2001 for 6 months and visited to my sister in canada only for 4 months on the birth of her baby and returned back.
now my brother is also there and has 3 kids. eldest kid is 5 years old and is medically sick and considered in special children needs full time assistance.
youngest one is only 6 months old and midle one is 3 years old
now hospital of sickchildren advised to my brother that due to new baby its not possible for mother of children to manage both children who needs fulltime nursing. Doctor recomanded that call grandmother of children to come in canada and help the family to manage children.
Hospital issued a letter in detail to CHC.
now my mother applied for multiple visite visa and have sufficent funds in her account from last many years i am working on parmanent basis in Pakistan and also provide my bank statment and sponser letter to support her during her visite.
in application form we mention that she will visite only her sons family.
after 2 months now we receive a letter from CHC islamabad to provide further documents which includes
1:updated statments of applicant, sponser in pakistan and also host in canada.
2:evidence of immigration of all relitives in canada including passport copy citizenship card etc.
3:provide evidence of details of employment of son in Law and doughter and also their bank statments and tax returns from 2005 to 2008.
Now what the hell is it? regarding point 1 its ok we will provide statments but what do they mean they dont have any information about persons living in canada they should collect all information regarding canadian citizens from their own system like here we can get from Nadra and other departments.
now due to some personal family issues its not possible for us to demand all mentioned details from In-Laws of my sister and more over my mother will also visite her sons family only its mentioned in application what should now we do can u please comment.

please let me under what topic i can post my question.
i and my wife applied for immigration in 2002.
people who applied with have got immigration in 2008.
i have no information on our status.
we have written to embassy but they have choose to ignore us.
what we can do.

Guys, I sent an email to ask about processing time for the Skilled Workers !!! This is in New York, Buffalo Office. Not sure about other offices in other countries. Here is what they replied:
Permanent resident applications are created in our database and
acknowledge letters are sent to the applicant within 20 weeks of
receipt. Any application submitted without the required documents and
information will be returned to the applicant.

I asked New York Office. Not sure about the country you live in. This is what they email me:

Were you assigned an immigration file number?
What happened exactly from the time you applied
to now? If nothing happened, then you should be
worried.

I sent my application to Buffalo and I want to withdraw it now and re-apply and request Sydney to send it to my home country. The visa office in my country is sending medical request within a month. The thing is I do not know how long it will take for Buffalo to withdraw it and return my documents since they have all my documents. Does anyone here know how long it should take for Buffalo to withdraw and send me back my documents?
