Hey mate,
When you apply under simplified process you just say you have the money and that's it. YOU DO NOT have to show this money at this stage. About 4 months before they are ready to assess your application they ask you for all supporting documents, including Proof of Funds.
Hope this helps.

The SAP is mainly to keep inventory low and to prevent duplication of outdated documents. Also, you have to qualify when you apply in everything i.e. exeperience, language, education, etc.

Let's suppose that I will have enough points in January but not now (work experience). This means I can not apply now?

Hi all

I am a newbie, kindly pardon me if i am asking questions that have been asked earlier on this great forum.

I am aware that Documents are no longer required to be submitted along with Application Form. The question i have is - what is the period between when i file my application and when i will be required to submit other docs. I know it varies from one country of application to another, and as well from application to application. I will appreciate it if i can have a general idea.

I will be applying from United Kingdom. I am blessed with quite a large family and will like to use the waiting time to save towards Proof of Funds.

Thank you

in NEWDELHI , IT TAKES 2-3 MONTH OR EVEN MORE TO HAVE THE FILE NUMBER SO YOU MUST BE PATIENT SINCE YOU ARE STILL IN THE FIRST STAGE
GOOD LUCK

Hi All,

I've applied at Vienna office on September 1, 2006 in the frame of SAP Skilled Worker Immigration. Letter of acknowledgement is dated on September 18.
Estimated time of process is 18-24 months.

My question is:
Does somebody information about effective lenght of processing time at Vienna office? Does it take REALLY so long??????
Thanks
The desperate Anonymus

VIENNA IS REALLY REALLY BETTER THAN OTHER OFFICES ( DAMASCUS ,NEWDELHI) SO I THINK IT TAKES BETWEEN 2 OR 2.5 YEARS TO HAVE UR VISAS. PATIENCE IS THE "KEY" AND GOOD LUCK

Hi,

I applied in Vienna in April 2006 and my AOR says 12 months. I think it takes around 5 months to get IA and approximately 1 year to finalize the process. If you look at the processing times you will see that Vienna has one of the fastest processing times in the world:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/02a-skilled-fed.html#europe

I've heard of many people who got their PR in btw 5 and 9 months in last two years.

Hope this info is helpful.

Good luck!!!

hi there,

Thank you so much for letting me know this information. So you mean that even we have everything prepared like the documents, and even we send them the requirements it won't make our application fast? We have 95% of the requirements prepared and all that we're waiting is the file number.

Thanks mike220
