Dear all,
This is my first post; I realized that for the first time I am in need of expert opinion from all well aware participants. I came to Canada as International Student in Aug 2006 to do my MBA; at present I am under post graduation work permit and working for Bell call center. I applied for immigration under federal skill class and my file was transferred to Seattle. In very less time, I received a letter from Seattle- the purpose of the letter was to provide evidence of my previous work experience, MBA transcripts, and funds proof. I was successfully able to acquire and submit 2 letter of reference from my previous employers in India and also from my current employer “bell”. But the plight is I was not able to acquire the letter of reference from one out of three previous employer.. What I need to know is; will that affect or delay my case..However, I have submitted the explanation for not able to provide one letter of reference.. Please guide me through if there is anything else I need to do..and How long can it take.
Thank You Sincerely Nick |

Dear All,
Greetings from Kuwait
I am in the 2nd stage of my application. Following is status immigration points,
1. I did B.Com from Delhi University and CA from New Delhi which gives me -22 points
2. English test -10 points (IELTS result- L-6.5, R-6, W-6 & S-6.5)
3. 12 year experience of Internal/Statutory Audit (Under NOC code 1111) - 21 points 4. Age 36 years- 10 points
5. Adaptability for wife's B.Com (Correspondence) from Delhi University (15 years' study), CA (3 parts) & 3 years' Apprenticeship training, 6 years' working experience in the field of Auditing, Taxation and Financial advisory (under NOC 1111) - 4 points
As of now my total points are 67. Do you think I should go ahead to file the application or retake the IELTS test to improve score?
Kindly do revert back.
Thanks & Regards,

just see that you are confused yourself about points assesment.
Now if u reappear in IELTS and will get some more points then how much u will be confident during all period of immigration process so i think u must reappear in IELTS to get some extra points in your own assesment.
One thing more, once i talked to a registered consultant of CSIC and he told me that "no dought there is points system and u need 67 points but even then each factor analyzed separetly" so we should focus on all factors and try to get maximum in each factor for smooth processing of our case

Hello Friends,
As per the new process, it is learnt that the documents are not asked at the time of applying for the PR. Does it also hold true for the IELTS score? Can I apply for the Canadian immigration without the IELTS score and after we apply for the PR, I can take the test and submit the scores when asked by the immigration office?
In summary, my concern is that do we have to take the test before applying for the Canadian PR?
Thanks in advance! Rahul |
