Dear all experienced friends,

I asked some queries on other forums but no one intend to reply but I hope u would help in this regard.

I applied skilled under simplyfy in december 2006 to Cic Pakistan. Now I think cic would ask all updated documents that is why i want to start preparing documents since now before moving to England for study purpose in January 2010.

There are few queries for ur kind attention:

1. As I am a doctor what type of job letters shall i collect? Will cic require payslips because I work for small clinic where my owner doesnot give any payslip just give me a cash each month.

2. Regarding contact number will it be ok with only mobile number of my clinic because my owner doesnot have any land line number.

3. Will have i to submit IELTS now when cic requir documents or can i submit it later on after 4 months of submition of documents?

4. My wife has non regular 2-year distance degree of B.A from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. Can I get 4 points for that?

5. Will have I to submitt bank statement now with documents?

6. How can I submit original universty sealed transcript in evelope because our universty give us by hand without any envelope, is it neccessary with sealed envelope?

7. What type of documents/experiences letter have i to submitt to cic?

I know that this is too lengthy but I am really confused what should i do?

Please friends help me in this matter I will highly thakfull to u all.

Hi, this is my first post here. I am planning to apply for migration to Canada under the Skilled Worker Category. I am an architect by profession and on the new list of occupation, my profession is no longer listed. Can I still apply? or will my application be rejected for not being on the list?

Replies will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Birth Certificate & English Proof- COPY or ORIGINAL?

I must send all documents to Visa office next week so now I am reviewing.

However, I am confused that should I send a Original or Copy(notarized) of birth certificate? Instruction(Buffalo USA) says just Birth Certificate.

Another question is about sending Language Test score.
The Visa Office Specific Instructions(Buffalo USA) says "If you choose to send the reports to us directly, you must provide the original."

I took the IELTS test. I know we can send the result to different place directly from IELTS, but I sent only my home. In this case, should I send Original or Copy of my score?

Thank you very much.

Hi All,

I want to immigrate to Canada from Pakistan.Presently i am working in a commercial bank in Lahore,
for about 2 years and my designation is Branch Credit Initiation Manager.

Before February 2008, my current full time occupation would fall under NOC 0122 for "Banking, Credit and Other
Investment Managers" whereas there was a separate NOC 0111 for Financial managers." http://www.canreach.com/noc.asp

But now under just 38 eligible occupations:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list

the separate category does not seem to exist for Banking, Credit and other investment managers. Is it merged with
NOC 0111 for Financial Manager occupation and people can still apply? or, they are no longer eligible? Can i apply?

But, at the end of this page (http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=0111), it has
noted 0122 under "Classified Elsewhere." What does it mean? Does it mean
that 0122 can also be consider under the same occupational category 0111 in NOC list? Also, some of the main
duties under 0111 eg, "Evaluate ..., investemnt activities,... ," "Act as liaison between organization and its...
investing public," "Establish profitability standard for investment activities..." somewhat match with my current
duties. So, what do you think, i should apply under 0111 occupation rephrasing my main duties so as to
fit under this category or i am not eligible?

Regards,

Ijaz Rafi

Yes, you could apply in Federal Skilled Worker category as long as your current occupation falls within NOC 38 list. What is your occupation?

I am a new user to this forum as well as new to immigration process. i need your help for my one question:

Quoted from www.cic.gc.ca website
[quote]According to the eligibility criteria, your application is eligible for processing if:

i- you have an offer of arranged employment, OR
ii- you are a foreign national who has been living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student, OR
iii- you are a skilled worker who has at least one year of experience in one or more of the occupations listed here. [unquote]

my question is: i do not fall in any of above categories however i fulfill min. 67 points requirement. Can i apply for immigration as skilled worker, no matter application is processes in 6~12 months or remain in queue for 4~5 years?

Current processing times at Singapore post is between 48-54 months. Since you have just applied, so please be patient and don't bug them. It will simply delay your processing further...

First of all, your currrent job title must be on NOC 38 list. Please let me know what's your current job title or occupation?
