Hello,

I put in an application for PR under the FSW program (my occupation was listed on 38 demand list). Currently my application and supporting documents are at the Buffalo office and I have not heard anything since last March. I was under the impression that the new FSW program was going to be much faster if your occupation was on the list. It seems to be taking a very long time. Any comments?

HI to everyone,

Could you please provide your expert advice in my case..

I came to Canada as an International Student and applied my P.R application under skilled category.. My file was transferred to Seattle office in very less time..Seattle office asked for some additional doc’s to support my work exp back home. I provided all info to them..Currently, I am under 3 years of post graduation work permit in Canada, which I got after completing my MBA in Canada. So, I provided them the evidence of my Canadian work exp as well..I ordered my Caips note and found out that Canadian Immigration gave me 67 points and were looking to open my file (Bought Forward Date) on August 18 2009..

Meanwhile; I got a job in U.S and currently I am working in New York City under H1 Visa...I am curious to know what is likely to happen next in my case:
1)What can I expect to happen once they opened my file on Aug 18..its been almost 2 months now and I have not heard from them.
2) Would my H1 visa affect my case?

I would really appreciate your valuable insight in my case.

Sincerely,
Nick

Hi Khalid,

120 days starts from 11th sept. Also you need to send originals only if asked in document checklist. you can get all the copies notarized and send them.

hi samerfx1

when i applied for immigration i had $2000 only but i said i have $12,000 as pof.I was asked to show the proof after 2 years of my intial application in which time i could make up that money so it is ok if you submitt your application, however make sure you can show pof when they ask you for ,which is likely at the end of the immigration process.hope this helps
