As mentioned, the police certificate validity should not exceeds three month period. Otherwise it will not be accepted. You should re-apply for police certification.

Hi -
My first medical was done on Oct, 08 last year. Then i got second medical requests because my wife have a heart problem (by birth). They also send me medical test for sputum test. Medical documents for me were send back in Mar 09 (everything clear) and for my wife in Jun 09 (with letter from cardiologist that she needs a heart surgery but there no urgency to it, neither she need post operation treatments & medicines). Since then whenever i contact them, CIC says that my case is under security check.

I am in USA right now. I have submitted everything they asked including Landing fee, documentation etc etc. Does anybody knows

1. Would i have to go for medical again or my first medical date would be considered when the last medical docs were sent.
2. Why it is taking so long for security check, i still remember getting USA visa in 6 days from Pakistan with all security checks done.

Thanks in Advance

Hi, My brother applied in July-09 directly to NS as a skilled worker in category 1. He received an email in August-09 from NS stating that his initial application has been approved (no letter yet). Now he is waiting for a response from Islamabad CHC. It has been 2 months & he has not received any letter from CHC requesting documents and medical exam. He has sent a fax to CHC but they didnt reply. He is worried that the four month period might expire. Is there any email address or tel no where he could contact them either in NS or CHC. OR I would appreciate any other advice. Thanks.
