Has anyone here been denied entry while travelling to the US as a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident with the required visa? Would be great if you don't mind sharing your experience.

I know someone with a TN visa that was denied at the 8th time of renewal. If you just travel as a visitor, you do not need a visa if you are a Canadian citizen. I do not know what you need to travel as a Canadian PR.

if you dont have a canadian citizenship , then check to see if ur home country requires a visa to enter the US

Even if one becomes a Canadian citizen, there's no guarantee that he can re-enter the US if he has previously violated his stay there. He needs to obtain a waiver.

There could be other reasons they are denying entry also, lack of funds, criminal history, etc
Just like a US citizen is not guaranteed entrance into Canada - a Canadian citizen is not promised entry into the US.
