Singer is often requested to provide individuals with employment prospects in Canada, at the earliest stages of their settlement project. The employment offer provides valuable points of assessment for an application for permanent residence and for a temporary employment authorization visa.

1. Manager of Data Network

Optel Communications Corporation
Starting Salary - The mode of compensation is annual salary of C$58, 000
with benefits including health and dental insurance, three weeks vacation time, RSP Plan and a stock option plan.
 

2. Director, Technology and Operations

Cogeco Cable Inc.
Starting Salary - C$95,000, semi-monthly basis
Standard Probation Period - six months.
Performance and salary review - six months; annual salary review every year on September 1.
Benefits - Employee Group Insurance Benefit Plan; Cogeco Pension Plan -  to start immediately; Cogeco Executive Bonus Plan.
Vacation time - 3 weeks vacation per year.

Additional Information - key to the position is managing technology and operations department and all telecom associated operations; new position is a result of growth; the company interviewed approximately 25 people but had not found anyone - most applicants were lacking experience on the telecom side - the company wants someone with IT and computer, as well as telecom experience - also very important is people management skills.
 

3. Country Manager Latin America

Bayly Communications Inc.
Annual Salary:  CDN$55,000 + 2.5% commission on Bayly's Latin American value
added sales dollars (net sales) paid quarterly beginning with orders received after November 30, 1999.
Benefits:  Full Package.
Vacation:  Vacation of two weeks after one full year of employment
 

4. Senior Mechanical Process Engineer

Ivaco Rolling Mills
Annual Salary:  $55,000 plus $5,000 signing bonus.
Benefits:  Employee Group Insurance Benefit Plan;
Vacation: Three (3) weeks annual vacation, non-cumulative; moving expenses.
Additional Information:  Temporary Employment Authorization issued.
 

5. Software Developer (Services)

Macola Canada
Annual Salary: $60,000 - $120,000 depending on distribution between support & consulting work, based on a 40-hour workweek.
Benefits: Standard
 

6. Manager, Sales and Marketing

Willpak Industries Inc.
Annual Salary: $30,000
Benefits:  Standard
Additional Information: Sales & Marketing representative in export markets and selected areas in North America.
