The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program facilitates immigration for qualified applicants who meet specific economic and labour market needs in New Brunswick. There are two types of applicants, Job Offer applicants and Business Plan applicants.

  • Job Offer applicants

Candidates must have a permanent full-time job offer from an established New Brunswick company. Employers must demonstrate that they’re having difficulty finding these skills in the local job market.

  • Business Plan applicants

Candidates must have previous relevant management experience with proven success as a senior executive and/or business owner. They must have sufficient funds to finance the first phase of a planned business venture without third party assistance and to support their family for a period of up to two years (there are no fixed net worth criteria, it depends on the business plan). They must participate in the business in an active managerial role.

Under both categories, candidates must sign a declaration stating their intention to settle in New Brunswick and they must also meet other selection procedures (language abilites, age, education, work experience and adaptability). Neither category requires a processing fee.
