Dear Mr. Singer:

Thank you for agreeing to participate as a speaker at the Ontario Administration of Settlement & Integration Services (Oasis) Settlement Sector Conference taking place in Toronto, January 29 – 31, 2003.

The purpose of the conference is to bring front-line settlement workers together. The goal is to equip them with the appropriate information, tools, and relevant knowledge to support effective intervention and referral strategies to facilitate the immigrant client in his/her successful settlement and integration into Canadian society. The conference is expected to draw approximately 500 participants.

Enclosed you will find a Speaker Information Form, Program-at-a-Glance, and the Travel & Accommodation Policy

Please review and complete the attached materials. You are being requested to include a bio and abstract of your presentation. These will be used as your introduction and included in the final conference program. Please return the information today. As well, we will distribute your presentation handouts on the day of your session. Handouts are due January 23, 2003.

The Pinnacle Group is working with OASIS to provide convention management and will be your primary contact.

If you have any questions regarding your speaking engagement, please don’t hesitate to contact or me. Thank you for your participation and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,
