The Procedure When the Essential Applicant Withdraws the Application and Requests a Refund
If the officers find that the Start Up Business Class application is in process, then they would need to:
- Withdraw the application in the Global Case Management System (GCMS) and,
- Avoid refunding the fees
If the officers find that the application is not in process, then they would need to:
- Withdraw the application in the Global Case Management System (GCMS) and,
- Provide a refund of the fees
Situations could arise where the same commitment certificate links other applicants. In addition, some of these applicants could also be other essential applicants.
If the officers find that the other team member’s application is in process, then the officers would need to:
- Advise the other team member that a person deemed essential has withdrawn their application and that, as such, the officers would not be able to continue processing their application any further
- Withdraw the application in the Global Case Management System (GCMS) and,
- Avoid refunding the fees
If the officers find that the other team member’s application is not in process, then the officers would need to:
- Advise the other team member that a person deemed essential has withdrawn their application and that, as such, the officers would not be able to continue processing their application any further
- Withdraw the application in the Global Case Management System (GCMS) and,
- Provide a refund of the fees
