The International Agreements (R204)

Officers have the authority to issue a work permit to a foreign national, who intends to perform work pursuant to:
- Any international agreement between Canada and one or more countries, other than an agreement that concerns seasonal agricultural workers
- Any agreement entered into by one or more countries and by or on behalf of one or more provinces or,
- Any agreement entered into by the Minister with a province or a group of provinces as specified in the provisions of subsection 8 (1) of the Act
This is in accordance with the provisions specified under section 200.
