B.C. has recorded a dramatic drop in immigration from other countries, going down to negative numbers for the first time in 10 years. In the fourth quarter of 2014, immigration to B.C. was negative 3,145 people, although 18,753 migrants had arrived in the previous quarter. B.C. has recorded an average of 34,000 incoming migrants per year over the past 10 years. Experts believe the fall is due to the new TFW rules coming into force.
