              Canada Priority Residence Program:FAQ

Last Updated on May 6, 2020

              Frequently Asked Questions

At the present time, there are no programs available for you to relocate to Canada without a sponsoring employer. Our Canada Priority Residence Program (CPRP) is an excellent double strategy for applicants with your credentials to secure Canadian residence. Through our independently owned recruitment enterprises, SkilledWorker (www.skilledworker.com) and Global Recruiters of Montreal (www.grnmontreal.com) our CPRP is a tailor made employment driven program that increases the chances of your successful settlement in Canada in a restrictive immigration industry in Canada.

Read more about the double strategy we follow under our CPRP: https://www.immigration.ca/canada-priority-residence-program-cprp/

Our CPRP program helps you identify and contact potential hiring sponsoring employers for your admission to Canada. First, we prepare your Canada employment resume in a strategic format and style that employers prefer to navigate. Second, we provide you with our Self Directed Employment search package comprising of 500 potential hiring employers containing their contact details in Canada who you will contact. Third, through SkilledWorker (www.skilledworker.com) and www.grnmontreal.com, we provide you 24/7 access to our bank of many employment tutorials comprising of the very best training videos and PowerPoint presentations to help maximize your chances of securing employment in Canada. Fourth, we provide you with written submissions that you will submit to potential Canadian employers confirming we will help navigate the employment sponsorship process on behalf of the employer. Fifth, we will train you via face-to-face 60-minutes live tutorial on how to use LinkedIn to help find a job in Canada from overseas (conditions apply).

To complement the above, we will also submit your credentials to our Global Recruiters of Montreal and Immigration.ca database. We will conduct a passive, match-based employment search to identify employment prospects and introductions to potential hirings in Canada through Global Recruiters of Montreal’s Consulting and Placement Solutions– CAPS® (an employment search-centric system). This means that if and when a Canadian employer contacts us to locate candidates with your qualifications we will present your candidacy to such employer(s) for hiring consideration. We are routinely approached by Canadian employers seeking access to pre-qualified foreign national candidates to fill a company’s staffing needs. Our assistance in this regard could prove helpful to you in such circumstances.

IELTS is mandatory when we submit your application under a skilled worker program that may become available during the term of our 24-month mandate.  It may be required to qualify for employment in Canada.

We will provide you with an 8-week FREE online IELTS-Starter Course, including training modules, practise tests and interactive exercises to guide them through each part of the IELTS test (listening; reading; writing; speaking). The course also includes a terrific BONUS of a 100-hours Advanced English course.

We commit our services for a period of up to 24 months.  During this time you may either qualify for permanent residence under a federal or a provincial nominee program without a sponsor employer; or, you may identify a qualified employer that will sponsor your early entry admission to Canada.

As you currently do not qualify for admission to Canada without a sponsor employer, the time frame will depend on how long it takes to identify a sponsor employer.  Once you secure a job offer, we will work with the employer to approve the offer and apply for an early entry work permit which could take approximately 2-6 months from submission of the application.

Alternatively, if during our 24-month mandate you become eligible for permanent residence under a federal or provincial nominee skilled worker program we will prepare and submit your application.  The processing time in this scenario will be approximately 9-18 months from submission of the application based on current delays.

Once you secure a job offer and after it is approved by the Canadian authorities, you will qualify to apply for temporary residence permits for your spouse and dependent children.

Government fees are not included in our charges.

We will provide you with excellent settlement and relocation resources once the application is approved.

Our fees under contract are divided into 4 installments that become due at the earlier of a specific event or a period of time in the future.   We cannot reduce the risks beyond the stated terms of our contract.

We are Canada’s only immigration attorneys that provide you with credible, direct in-house employment search consulting services through our independently owned Global Recruiters of Montreal, (www.grnmontreal.com) a Deloitte & Touche award-winning professional transition enterprise.

We will submit your credentials to SkilledWorker (www.skilledworker.com), Global Recruiters of Montreal (www.grnmontreal.com) & www.immigration.ca and provide you with a passive, match-based employment search and placement assistance to potentially identify and locate employment prospects and introductions to potential hiring(s) in Canada.

We will provide you with a comprehensive Database comprising at least 500 prospective employers who we have identified as potential hiring companies in your occupation in Canada.

We will provide you with a Canadian-styled Resume outlining your education, employment history and other hiring attributes in a concise format that Canadian hiring managers seek in a prospective candidate in your field.

We will provide you with written submissions addressed to potential sponsor employers in Canada confirming we will help navigate the employment sponsorship formalities on behalf of the employer.

We will provide you with 24/7 access to our SkilledWorker (www.skilledworker.com) and Global Recruiters of Montreal’s (www.grnmontreal.com) bank of employment tutorials comprising of the very best training videos and power point presentations to help maximize your chances of securing employment in Canada.

We will train you via face-to-face 60-minutes live tutorial on how to use LinkedIn to help find a job in Canada from overseas (conditions apply).

Our self-directed employment search will be customized to your needs. You will be able to confirm the province(s) and industry you would like us to include in your comprehensive database.

We will also provide you with employment training on how to contact employers outside the database provided.

Depending on the province in which you become employed, your spouse may also be granted an open work permit.

Canada’s immigration policies are very restrictive. We guarantee our very best efforts under conditional money back refund policy in all our CPRP mandates. We are confident that our services will provide you with the best chances to help you reach your objectives, without guarantees of result.
