Canadian consumer confidence has fallen to its lowest level in five months due to negative perceptions about job security, a survey shows. The Bloomberg Nanos Canadian Confidence Index fell to 56.7 at the end of May, down from 56.9 in the previous period. The weaker Nanos results come following the loss of 19,700 jobs across Canada in April, with unemployment remaining at 6.8 percent for a third month in a row.
