May 17, 2019 – Manitoba immigration has made a number of changes to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program In-Demand Occupations.
For the first time, the MPNP now indicates which immigration stream the in-demand occupation is eligible for.
In-demand occupations apply to certain pathways under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream (SWO), the Skilled Workers In Manitoba stream (SWM) and the International Education Stream (IES).
Under the latest changes, 7 occupations are no longer eligible for the SWO Overseas Stream (SWO). Also, language requirements have been changed for 7 other positions.
Details of all the changes are outlined below.
Manitoba has conducted regular draws through 2019 for all three streams mentions above.
