Immigrants, temporary foreign workers and international students coming into Canada as the country re-opens its borders to non-essential travel starting next month will enjoy a bit of a post-pandemic popularity bump. And it’s all because they’ll be either fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 or will have been tested and found to be COVID-19 free at the border.
Quebec has made the COVID-19 vaccine available to temporary foreign workers who are working on farms in the province. “These temporary foreign workers are included in the priority group of essential workers in environments at high risk of an outbreak,” said a statement from the Quebec immigration ministry (MIFI). The high-risk environments were identified by
