August 10, 2017 -The Saskatchewan immigration office opened its popular International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand sub-category on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) stream does not require a job offer, provided candidates have experience in one of the in-demand occupations listed below.
The stream is open for 1,200 applications. Applicants must be quick, as previous windows closed within 48 hours. Each candidate must pay a $300 application fee when they apply.

“To be accepted, your application must be complete with all required documents or it will be returned and the application fee will not be refunded,” a Saskatchewan immigration statement said. “When the application threshold is reached, no further applications will be accepted.”
International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand Category: Requirements
- Score at least 60 out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid.
- Language score of at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4.
- Post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship comparable to the Canadian education system of at least a year, earning a diploma, certificate or degree.
- Have at least one-year work experience in the past 10 years in your occupation (see list below)
- Proof you are qualified to get a license in Saskatchewan if your field so requires.
- Proof of settlement funds and a settlement plan.
