This Operational Bulletin (OB) provides information on the fee-exempt events taking place in:
- August 2012
- September 2012 and,
- October 2012
Background
The authorities will provide a fee exempt visa to certain delegates attending special events in Canada. This is in accordance with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR).

Note:
- Fee exemptions apply to single entry Temporary Resident Visas (TRVs) only
- If applicants request for multiple entry Temporary Resident Visas (TRVs), they would need to pay the processing fee for them as well
- Officers are encouraged to enter the appropriate code in the Global Case Management System (GCMS)
- Doing so would enable the authorities to track immigration status in relation to the events being conducted
