The Employment and Social Development Canada’s (ESDC’s) Job Bank
Foreign nationals would need to register with Employment and Social Development Canada’s (ESDC’s) Job Bank within 30 days of creating their Express Entry profiles. This is applicable to foreign nationals who:
- Do not have a qualifying offer of arranged employment or,
- A provincial or territorial nomination
This is in accordance with the provisions specified in A10.3 (1) (e) mentioned in paragraph 5 (1) (c) of the Express Entry Ministerial Instructions.
However, some foreign nationals might not be able to register with Employment and Social Development Canada’s (ESDC’s) Job Bank because of a physical or a mental disability. In this scenario, A10.3 (1) (e) of subsection 5 (3) of the Ministerial Instructions provides an exemption to these foreign nationals from this mandatory requirement. Thus, these foreign nationals remain exempt from the requirement of having to register with Employment and Social Development Canada’s (ESDC’s) Job Bank.
