For the Temporary Foreign Worker Stream, the applicant would need to possess at least 24 months of full-time Canadian skilled work experience (or the equivalent in part-time work experience) in one or more National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A or B occupations, within the 36 months prior to the date of the application receipt.
For the post-graduation stream, applicants would need to have at least 12 months of full-time Canadian skilled work experience (or the equivalent in part-time work experience) in one or more National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A or B occupations, within the 24 months prior to the date of the application receipt. This is in accordance with the provisions specified in R87.1 (2) (a) (i) and R87.1 (2) (a) (ii).
In addition, applicants would need to have acquired this experience after they have completed the required program of study and secured a Canadian educational credential. It is worth noting that work performed under the Off-Campus Work Permit Program or on a co-op work term does not count.
